Do I have to make an appointment for a consultation/ temperament test before I bring my pet to Londoloza?
- Yes ALL new clients must come in for a temperament test prior to their visit. This visit is complimentary, and allows us to evaluate how well your pet will do with other dogs in our environment, and if there are any special considerations we should be aware of. Don’t worry as most pets do just fine. If your dog does not get along well with others we can provide walking services for an additional daily cost.
Here are some things to do before your temperament consultation appointment:
- Prior to setting up an appointment for a temperament test, please make sure you have downloaded and filled out your forms, they can be found on our website: http://londolozadogden.com/faq/forms/
- Also please make sure your pet is up to date with their vaccinations, (Bordatella, DHPP, and Rabies), you can bring a copy with you or fax it to (310) 388-1540.
- Also make sure your pet has had recent flea/tick prevention applied.
- We also require a credit card on file at the time of booking.
What vaccinations are required for my dog/cat’s stay at Londoloza?
DOGS:
- Rabies, DHPP & Bordetella.
- If the Bordetella has lapsed (or has never been administered), please make sure it is given at least 14 days prior to your pet’s stay, or within the last 6 months, and every 6 months thereafter.
- If the Bordetella has lapsed (or has never been administered), please make sure it is given at least 14 days prior to your pet’s stay, or within the last 6 months, and every 6 months thereafter.
CATS:
- Rabies, FVRCP & and a negative test result for Feline Leukemia, or have been recently vaccinated.
Can I bring my dog/cat’s blanket or toys?
- Sure, as long as its a small, flat blanket or towel. The large dog beds you probably have at home are great, but if they’re soiled they’re very difficult to wash, and easy to loose. Londoloza does have the Kuranda bed and blanket in every den so they’re always comfortable, warm and comfy.
What if my pet has to take medicine or vitamins?
- No problem. A Londoloza representative is happy to assist in keeping your pet healthy. Oral or topical medications are administered for a daily extra charge.
What if my dog or cat isn’t spayed or neutered?
- Your pets are always welcome! However, they will not be able to participate in the DayPlay activities, but we will give them PLENTY of time to play in the runs while the others are napping or eating their meals, and for an extra charge we will walk your dog.
Will someone be on site all the time?
- Yes, Londoloza is a fully staffed 24hr/365days a year facility. We will never leave your pets unattended.
- Our lobby hours are:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
